Network Setup & Support

James, Derrick or Brad can provide you with the right advice – they’re not going to talk you into believing you need the latest and greatest technology, and it’s fine if you don’t understand how all the gear works (sometimes it’s ok just to know that a flashing light means everything’s working).

What is networking? If you haven’t googled it yet, networking is described as “a collection of computers and other hardware interconnected by communication channels that allow sharing of resources and information”. In other words … do you a) save an important document on a flash stick and pass it to your work colleague who sits next to you? or b) save an important document on a drive that your colleague can access at any time. If you’re an 'A' who wants to become a 'B', click here.
