Step-by-step guide
Step 1
Open Microsoft Outlook Express Note: If it is the first time you have loaded Outlook Express, you may be presented with a wizard to setup your email: If so, skip to Step 4.
Step 2
Click on Tools in the menu bar, then click on Accounts

Step 3
Click on the Add button, then click on Mail...

Step 4
In the Display name: field, type in your full name, then click Next

Step 5
In the E-mail address: field, type your IT Basecamp username or mail account with the suffix of '@yourdomain.com.au'. ie.
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
Then click Next

Step 6
- Select POP3 for My incoming mail server is a menu item
- In the Incoming mail (POP3) or (IMAP) server: field, type mail.itb.net.au
- In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: field, type mail.itb.net.au, then click Next

Step 7
- In the Account name: field, type your IT Basecamp username or mail account name
- In the Password: field, type in the corresponding password for your username, then click Next

Step 8
Click on the Finish button.
Step 9
Click back to the accounts window and select the mail tab.
Make sure outgoing mail is set to 25.
Tick the 'This server requires a secure connection (SSL)' box.
Ensure Incoming mail is set to 110.
Click OK.
Step 10
To send and receive emails, click the Send/Receive button.
Congratulations Microsoft Outlook Express is now configured for use.
