Outdoor Insights
I.T. Basecamp has provided web and business solutions to Outdoor Insights since 2002. We have also participated in their team building workshops and found them to be very effective.
Outdoor Insights specialise in designing and delivering customised and highly effective team building, change management, team skills training and leadership development programs.
They use a combination of facilitated indoor and outdoor experiential activities, adventure learning, problem-solving tasks, lateral thinking exercises supported with theoretical sessions and psychometric tools.
Outdoor Insights have managed 2-hour 'conference support' programs, run in the conference room or grounds of the venue, to multi-day wilderness based leadership and personal development programs.
All activities are debriefed and take the form of:

Designing your website
(yes, it's really important)
While a website with good and well structured content will keep your visitors coming back for more, a stunning design will initially draw them in.
An effective website is usually one that has been crafted from a strong initial concept. Important elements such as layout, colour, sound and functionality can be formed within this phase.
An aesthetically pleasing layout is essential, but you should also consider the following at design time:
- Ensure there is good site functionality
- Determine whether the layout will work within the constraints of CSS / HTML
- Determine whether the site be effective with use of flash or animation
- Keep the design consistent with your existing logo and branding
- Navigation should be logical, clearly defined and user friendly
- Pages should load quickly
- Relevant content throughout
- Pages are optimised for search engines
- Users should be able to contact you with ease
- Keeping the layout consistent throughout
- Images should be kept to minimal file size
