IT Basecamp Acronis Backup Software Trial
The team recently heard some raving about Acronis backup software from colleagues. We received some workstation trial licences
After installing the software onto a laptop, a backup was performed. The 34GB on the laptop took approximately 45 minutes to backup.
This is most impressive considering NT Backup can take up to 3 hours. We could then mount the backup as a drive on the PC and browse the contents.
Nightly incremental backups only took 7 -10 minutes.
We were sold.
Other features include a disaster recovery CD which allows you to easily restore a computer from backup.
